Scoile Mhuire Barntown, Wexford – 2015
‘The 12 m ceramic artwork in the entrance corridor takes the form
of a breeze blowing through Barntown and is meant to inspire and
encourage children in their choices about life and learning whether
that be through sport, reading, looking at cloud/stars, singing or playing
music.
A second artwork is situated on the second floor and shows aspects
of Barntown and Wexford with its connections to the sea and land.
A week was spent in the school working through ideas with the
pupils and staff before the project commenced so that everyone had
a chance to participate in forming ideas for this artwork.
Brilliant, beautiful and so creative. I love seeing your projects; they never cease to amaze me.
